In the IEEE TR Student Branches Algorithm competition Mesut Melih Akpınar, Halil Utku Çelik, İsmail Tarık Erkan, Atakan Yaşar from the Computer Engineering Deparment and Tarık Can Özden from the Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department (all preparatory students) came in first place! There were 247 participants in 65 teams from 33 universities.
