Multi-Player Game Networking

Multi-Player Game Networking

This project focuses on assessing and comparing the performance of different networking frameworks used in multiplayer game development. With the growing popularity of online multiplayer games, it is crucial to have efficient and reliable networking solutions that can handle the complexities of real-time interactions between players.
The objective of this project is to evaluate the performance of various game networking frameworks in terms of latency, bandwidth utilization, scalability, and stability. By conducting experiments and simulations, we can gather valuable insights into the strengths and weaknesses of different frameworks and identify the most suitable options for different game development scenarios.
Key aspects of this project include:

Designing a comprehensive evaluation methodology that covers key performance metrics.

Implementing test cases and scenarios to simulate different multiplayer game environments.

Analyzing the performance of networking frameworks under varying network conditions and player loads.

Comparing the frameworks based on their ability to handle real-time communication, synchronization, and anti-cheating measures.

Identifying areas for improvement and optimization in existing networking frameworks.
By conducting this project, we aim to provide game developers with valuable information and recommendations for selecting the most appropriate networking framework for their multiplayer game projects. The findings will help developers make informed decisions and optimize their game networking infrastructure to deliver a seamless and immersive multiplayer experience.
