SRC Research Project
RELIABLE EMBEDDED SYSTEMS USING MULTICORE AND MESSAGE PASSING ARCHITECTURES
Looking for a Ph.D. student for a new prestigious Semiconductor Research Corporation (SRC) funded project. SRC is an American university research management consortium, which plans and manages funding programs of basic and applied university research in semiconductor technologies on behalf of its participating members, which include Freescale, Intel, IBM, AMD, Cadence, Mentor, and others. The selection of SRC projects is very competitive, and mainly includes projects from major US universities. This is the first such SRC sponsored project given to a Turkish University. The nature of SRC projects involves regular meetings for the student in the USA, as well as, potential internships and opportunities with SRC member companies.Project Goal:
Our goal is to improve the reliability of multicore software running on heterogeneous embedded systems using message passing architectures, their hardware implementations and software analysis techniques.Required Skills:
MSc in Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering. Excellent programming skills in C, C++. Parallel programming (preferable). Verilog/VHDL and FPGA knowledge (preferable but not required). Software verification and testing (preferable but not required).Funding Source:
