Hand Gesture Interface V1.85 - 10.01.2006
To install just unzip the package to any folder of your choice and start the executable.
Don't forget to:
- Make sure that the image format of the camera is 24 bit RGB
- Set the resolutions of both cameras to be equal (only in 3D mode)
- Properly set up your cameras by putting them in both sides of the monitor, facing towards you
- Find a smooth colored glove with a color other than anything too close to the skin color or gray (including black and white)
When you open the application:
- Choose left or right hand from the options menu (default left)
- Prepare to wave your hand to the camera(s), press the Find Marker button and wave your hand
- Check the bitmaps in the Log folder to make sure the marker is correctly found (the images will be automatically shown in the next version)
- Press Control and control any application you like by moving your hand
