Brief Biography
I received my B.Sc. (1993) and M.Sc. (1995) in Computer
Engineering, Bogazici University,
Turkey and my Ph.D. (2004), Radboud University Nijmegen, the Netherlands.
I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Intelligent Autonomous Systems Lab. at University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands and the
Signal Processing and Communications Lab., Dept. of Engineering, University of Cambridge, UK. Since October 2008, I am
an assistant professor at Bogazici University, Dept. of Computer Engineering..
News and Links
April 2011: We have started a two year research project on Bayesian Tensor Factorisations (BAYTEN), funded by TUBITAK. This project will be run in collaboration with Cedric Fevotte and Olivier Cappe (CNRS, ParisTech - ENST).
April 2011: Our edited book with David Barber and Silvia Chiappa on Bayesian Time Series Models is about to be published by the Cambridge University Press.
