Who am I?
Currently, I am a PhD candidate at the Cognitive and Brain Sciences Programme at University of Trento, Italy.
My hometown is Izmir, one of the most beautiful cities in Turkey.
I like to find things to enjoy. A decent wine, chocolate, banana, smoking a pipe after an exhausting day... I am passionate about those little joys.
Sci-fi is my favorite genre with a special interest in the works of Arthur C. Clarke and Ursula Kroeber Le Guin. Elif Safak and Ihsan Oktay Anar are among my favorite contemporary Turkish authors.
They say that I was interested in photography once upon a time. Also I remember my scuba diving, not these days though.
A. Camus is the one philosopher whose line of thinking I admire. The notion of absurd and the absurd hero is my last frontline where I retreat in case of personal crisis.
Those who know about me also know that I am a big fan of the Peanuts. Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull and the Rainbow are the bands that I like to listen frequently.
