• The registration fee covers the attendance to the conference, a CD containing the conference proceedings, attendance to the conference dinner on the second day and all coffee breaks.

FINAL CAMERA READY PAPER SUBMISSION

All accepted papers must be prepared as indicated below and final camera ready versions must be emailed to mascots-submit@cmpe.boun.edu.tr so that they can be published in the proceedings.

All the following steps must be completed no later than 15 August 2007.

• STEP 1: REVISE YOUR PAPER:
  Please read the reviews and follow the reviewers recommendations for revising your final paper. Additionally, your paper should comply with the IEEE templates to be able to published in IEEE Explore. You can find the templates for:

Microsoft Word 97/2000
Rich Text Format

LaTeX (Paper size must be defined as A4 and document type must be [conference])
Unix,
Windows

You can use the sample manuscript as a visual aid for formatting.
When you are done with revising, please print out your paper and proofread it.

• STEP 2:SEND YOUR SOURCE FILE AND PDF FILES:
  Camera ready source file formatted according to IEEE style and its pdf version should be sent to mascots-submit@cmpe.boun.edu.tr. Source file should be either:
  * Microsoft Word (.doc) document, or
  * LaTeX file along with picture files, extra style and bibliography
  files.
  
  
• STEP 3: SUBMIT YOUR COPYRIGHT TRANSFER:
  After you send your camera ready paper, the IEEE Copyright Form should be filled and faxed to +90 (212) 287 2461

PLEASE NOTE: Most default settings for PDF distillers are NOT set-up to create PDF files that meet both printing and archiving specifications (graphics resolution, font embedding, etc.). The most common PDF distiller defaults are set-up to distill files to screen defaults. The screen defaults (low resolutions and no embedded fonts) do not reproduce well and do not match the quality of PDF files needed for print reproduction and archiving into IEEE digital libraries. At a minimum, basic PDF distiller setting MUST be changed so PDF files are: Optimized, Set to Acrobat 4.0 compatibility, All graphics are set to least 300 dpi resolution, ALL fonts MUST be embedded and subset, Postscript settings DO NOT override distiller settings and Page size is 612.0 x 792.0 points (8.5" x 11").

Authors should check their final PDF files before submission to verify that all fonts have been properly embedded and subset. Some font manufacturers now flag their fonts to not embed. These fonts should be avoided.
