• Minimum BS GPA score: 2.60/4.00 and minimum MS GPA score: 3.00/4.00
• Minimum "ALES Sayısal" score: 85 (or minimum GRE-quantitative score: 742 (minimum Revised GRE score: 158)).
• Supplementary material required by the department must be uploaded to Online Submission for Graduate Studies in Computer Engineering:
1. Completed Questionnaire Form.
2. CV.
3. BS and MS transcripts.
4. Statement of Purpose. Each applicant should contact with department faculty before the scientific interview and write a "statement of purpose" (minimum 1 A4 page). Statement of purpose must include the following information:
   1. The applicant's purpose of applying a PhD program
   2. The expected research direction for the PhD study
   3. The applicant's list of publications
   4. The name of the faculty member to work with.
• There is no entrance examination, but a scientific interview instead (No pre-filtering is applied by the department. All applicants are expected to appear at the scientific interview on the announced date and time)
• No reference letter is required for the graduates of Bogazici Univ. Computer Engineering department.
