Rules for The Project Presentation
- Presentation order.
Presentation order is given here.
If a speaker misses his/her time slot, rearrangement will not be made.
- Time.
Time allowed for each presentation is 25 min.
Plan for 20 min for presentation, 5 min for questions.
Try to present your findings, rather than general info that we all know.
- Participation.
All students are expected to participate all the presentations since the presentations are considered as an integral part of the learning process.
- Best paper award.
Best paper award will be selected by the audience.
- Hard copy.
Please handout a hard copy of your paper for each student in the class.
- CD.
The material should be submitted in a CD.
Label CD as
“2004-fall-cmpe588 YourName LastName”.
Provide all the necessary items in the CD including:
- paper
- presentation
- code and documentation
- data files(network, excel, pajek, ...)
- ...
- Paper Format.
There are many paper formats available on the web but the preferred for this course is the "Physical Review and Physical Review Letters formats of the American Physical Society.
There are MS Word and LaTeX formats.
If you know LateX, prefer that .
