The final composite. Geometry and the camera parameters for the virtual camera has the match those of the real camera. Also the lighting conditions in the real scene and the virtual scene has to match to strengthen the illusion of reality.

Mr Muscle Ad [StoryMine]

Green Mr. Muscle bottle replaced with a white virtual one. The real bottle tracked in 3D in different scenes and the virtual bottle is rendered with respective tracking parameters. Composited footage then rotoscoped to mask out the sections on the bottle to create the illusion that the left hand actually holds the bottle.
