- Mar 29 - Your first project is announced. Due date is April 13th, 23:59.
- Mar 21 - Programming assignment 1 is slightly updated. The description hosted in the web site is always the final updated version.
- Mar 21 - In the programming assignment, when you create a new mapping f_t+1, you need to do so using the old mapping f_t, by randomly swapping two target letters. Do not randomly generate a new mapping from scratch each time. Otherwise your program will most probably fail to find a good answer.
- Mar 20 - The probability for the coin in the assignment is changed to exp(K(new)-K(old)).
