• Projects are mandatory for only cmpe students. Check grading sections of the syllabus for more detail.
• Lab attendance will not be taken. However you are strongly adviced to attend to labs especially if you are taking this course for the first time.
  At lab sections:
  
  • Basic compiler use is taught
  • Students are asked to solve questions which are covering that weeks topics
  • Students have opportunity to get help from the lab asistant and lab student-asistants
  • Since exams are computer-based, lab sections are very good opportunities to practise for the exams
  • Exam questions and lab questions show similarity
• First week (20.02.2008-22.02.2008) there will be no lab. After the first week (after 23.02.2008) all lecture PS and Lab sections will be held
