Folks,
Tomorrow evening there will be 380 students in the exam. The exam will be given
in 5 labs in two sessions (17:00-19:00 and ) and 15 people will administer the
exam.
As you can understand, this is a difficult operation. Therefore, there are some
VERY STRICT rules you must obey:
1) You have to be ready in front of the exam location (BIM in the South Campus,
ETA in the North Campus) BEFORE the exam. You will all be allowed into the
building at the same time and the doors will close. NO
LATE ADMISSIONS, SO IF YOU ARE NOT THERE ON TIME, YOU CANNOT TAKE THE TEST.
You must be in front of the correct building 10 minutes before the exam
starts.
2) Your cell phones, laptops, PDAs, calculators, etc. must be turned off during
the exam.
3) For the students in the first session:
(a) You cannot leave the exam location before the end of your session, so make
your plans accordingly.
(b) YOU CANNOT TURN ON YOUR PHONES, ETC. BEFORE THE
DOORS HAVE BEEN CLOSED FOR THE SECOND SESSION. Taking into account
any possible delays, it is better to say don't turn on your phones before
19:10.
4) DO NOT SHUTDOWN YOUR COMPUTER WHEN YOUR EXAM IS
COMPLETE. If you shut it down, you will get ZERO POINTS from the exam.
No excuses.
5) A file will be provided to you for each question. In some of the questions,
you will have two comments that mark the beginning and end of student code.
YOUR ANSWER MUST BE COMPLETELY BETWEEN THESE TWO
MARKERS. Anything written outside this region will be discarded. ALSO,
DO NOT CHANGE/MOVE/EDIT THE MARKERS. If you
do so, you will get zero points from that question.
6) Write on your answers only in the files provided to you. If you write in
another file, we will not receive your answer.
Good luck to you all.
